THE GIG
Los Porcos - London, Madame Jojos
It’ll be a challenge for Los Porcos to get the folded arms and nodding heads of industry folk to strap on their dancing shoes in what’s one of the most anticipated shows in yonks for a new band. Still, if anyone can do it, Los Porcos can. Maracas, short shorts; bring your best Dad dancing knowhow and you’ll fit right in.
THE SONG
all dogs - BUDDY
7” by all dogs
Swearin’, PS. Eliot, [insert a Crutchfield sister-affiliated band here], Salinas Records are proudly sporting a roster of garage-punk heads breaking through to the big time. One of the latest additions comes in the form of all dogs. New 7’ previewer ‘BUDDY’ embraces every canine friend under the sun - even the weird, way-too-fluffy ones - and gives them a cause with wide-eyed guitar heroics.
OTHER NEU BUSINESS
Los Angeles Police Dept - The Only One
Ryan Pollie is a musician based out in - you guessed it - LA, breaking all the rules and pushing his experiences through a law-abiding vortex as Los Angeles Police Dept. ‘The Only One’ is a bittersweet introduction of folding, lulling guitar notes and softly-softly vocals that stir beneath the surface.
