The Neu Bulletin is a daily update of the most exciting new things DIY’s listening to. Some of the music you’ll like, some of it you won’t. We can’t please everyone, sorry.

Every day we offer up a choice show, a song of the day (branched under the understated heading “big Neu thing”) and a little something extra that’s caught our attention. Check back here every day for your latest Neu Bulletin delivery.

THE GIG
White Lung - London, 100 Club

Mish Way and co.’s White Lung are on the brink of releasing their latest ‘Deep Fantasy’ LP on Domino. Over the past year their already frenetic, spiky punk has picked up speed, momentum and more of a purpose. In their best form yet, expect fireworks.

THE BIG NEU THING
Hey Elbow - Blanca

Released earlier this week on Double Sun Recordings, the darkly majestic ’Blanca’ is the debut single from Malmö, Sweden trio Hey Elbow, who first appeared with two excellent demo recordings on their Soundcloud page last year. It’s a track that establishes Hey Elbow as one of the most exciting young acts in Sweden - ’Blanca’ is an intriguing first taste of their upcoming debut LP, due this fall. [Johan Alm]
