THE SONG
Alexandria - Whatever

Alexandria, a band from Stockholm, started out in Autumn 2012, an event which could, if you’re a cynical sod, be linked to the release of Tame Impala’s ‘Lonerism’. The two acts share a psych freak-out sound, and we’d be a little taken aback if we found out Alexandria hadn’t come across Kevin Parker and co.. ‘Whatever’ is a beautifully blooming, well-intentioned storm of a song, bold and boundless in approach and inches away from eclipsing the Perth-based originators.
