Mitzi - Who Will Love You Now


Cut Copy, you’ve got competition: Future Classic signings Mitzi (pictured above) are putting Aussie synth-pop on a pedestal and there’s not much that can top it. ‘Who Will Love You Now’ is breezy, fresh, all things easy-going, but it’s also a club track at the very heart; a breathtaking ode to life down under. Except Australian bands don’t just write about Australia. This is worth remembering. It’s a great country and all, but come on.

This Chicago producer has been sending these ears round in circles for the past two weeks, dazzling and impressing equal amounts with a stunning, late-night sound. People who like putting Burial on when commuting or walking out in the dark: You’ll adore this. ‘Rings’, in particular, is an example of this guy’s masterful craft at its most devastating.
