The West Country’s latest promising musical export hails under the moniker of Tidal Wars. These whippersnappers are releasing their debut single ‘Veils’ though Bristol’s ever-increasingly infamous Howling Owl indie label.

‘Veils’ creeps into life with an ‘Unknown Pleasures’-esque bassline before picking up the pace with a dooming black cloud of shoegazing guitars and haunting, gothic vocals. The band have also self-produced a humorous Pokémon-attributing music video where its light-hearted, informal feel effectively counteracts against the darkness of Tidal Wars’ music.

The single will be available to purchase in the physical format of a USB stick on 3rd September.
