After what feels like a rather epic wait, Dog Is Dead’s debut album ‘All Our Favourite Stories’ is out this week - hurray! To celebrate, the boys are taking us through the entire release, track by track - they started with songs one through five a few days ago, and now we’ve got six through ten: 6. ‘Hands Down’; 7. ‘Glockenspiel Song’; 8. ‘Heal It’; 9. ‘River Jordan’; 10. ‘Any Movement’.
“We played in the band for years and years, and no-one gave a shit,’ the band recently told us, as they were gearing up for the release. ‘We released singles ourselves; made a record ourselves. We paid our dues. We’ve never been part of a scene, never been on a ‘cool’ indie record label or anything like that. We made a bit of a splash putting out our own singles, and built our way up to it.”
The band have also recently announced a UK headline tour for October and November, in support of the record. They will kick off on 23rd October in Manchester, and the run includes a date at London’s Scala. Catch them at:
