Competition Closed: Win use of a Volt portable charger at Latitude 2014

Worried about how long your phone will last on site? Enter our competition.

One of the worst things to happen at a festival - assuming your tent doesn’t leak, you’ve not lost a welly, and you haven’t yet misplaced your booze - is your phone running out of charge. Gone are the days when your Nokia 3310 would keep going for a weeks on end without so much as a drop in service.

DIY has teamed up with Volt to offer a handful of festival goers a solution for this weekend’s Latitude (17th - 20th July). The idea is simple: you sign-up for a portable charger, charge your phone right in your pocket and when out of power you swap it to a new fully charged one. The Volt Charger can power up your phone 100% once, and it works with any phone.

The service costs £20 if you sign up onsite (pre-book using the code latitude30DIY for a discount), but four DIY readers will be able to use it absolutely free. To be in with a chance of winning, simply sign up to DIY’s mailing list, follow us on Twitter or Facebook, or send us a tweet using the form below. We’ll also need the phone number you’ll be using at the event. The closing date for entries is 12pm tomorrow, Wednesday 16th July.

DIY is the official partner of Latitude 2014. We’ll be bringing you extensive coverage from in and around the festival - look out for copies of the July 2014 issue in the Latitude supermarket, too!
