Every day of the week, Neu gives you a choice show and a selection of new music tips, all in the name of exposing you to something new and exciting.

If there's a gig that's worth heading to, we'll tell you all about it, and if there's a song you need in your life, we'll make sure you don't turn a blind eye. It’s the Neu Bulletin.

THE SONG
Moth Rah - Bambino

With a name like Cassandra Solon Parry, it'd be foolish to expect a musical style that wasn't transcendent, experimental and ever so slightly beyond convention. Bat For Lashes fanatics will flock towards this like moths to a flame. Moth Rah's up there with fellow newcomer Pretty Heart in building a foundation of gradual, enveloping piano strikes amongst an overall mood of melodrama and fantasy. Mystical, creeping and above all, filled with potential.

Taken from the 'Phoenix' EP, out 4th February.

OTHER NEU BUSINESS
Phaseone - It's Not Forever

What a shame it is that 'It's Not Forever''s title speaks the truth. By the time Phaseone's latest cut departs after its glorious 4 minutes 13 seconds, the permanence of the whole piece collapses and you're left with this distinct, yearning emptiness. 'It's Not Forever' is so grand and all-encompassing you'd happily entangle yourself within its perpetual state, if it did indeed promise to remain a constant for eternity.
Phaseone's releasing this one on permanent home Lefse and he's a full-length to his name, yes. But we're guessing 2013 will be the year he takes things a step further, hence why he's in this bulletin right here.
