THE GIG
Outfit - London, Sebright Arms
A couple of months ahead of their sure-to-be-Mercury-contender 'I Want What's Best' album, Liverpudlians Outfit play a sure to be rammed show at London's Sebright Arms. The recently unveiled title-track gives indication of a group in rude health.
THE SONG
Plastic Flowers - Fog Song
Free download 'Fog Song' from Greek duo Plastic Flowers is about as smart as it comes. Every message simmering in between the dreamy haze comes direct and without pretence. 'Things will come around' runs the mantra, and you're there every step of the way, convinced of it all. Think Chromatics with some extra magic dust sprinkled on top and you're halfway there.
