Booking now: Foals, Savages, Daughter and more announced for 6 Music Festival

The station’s third annual event comes to Bristol next month.
Savages and Daughter are amongst the first of a bunch of new names to be announced for this year’s 6 Music Festival.
The third annual event, which takes place across Bristol on the weekend of 12th-14th February, has also announced Yeasayer, Underworld and Roots Manuva.
Following these initial names, Foals have now become the biggest name on the bill so far, with DIY’s recent cover stars Hinds and RAT BOY also joining the line-up, along with Ezra Furman, Julia Holter, Beirut, Suede and more.
A line-up of DJs has also been announced for the event, with the likes of Floating Points, Mount Kimbie and Neneh Cherry playing sets across the weekend in the concourse of the Colston Hall. Laura Marling has also joined an ever-expanding bill, along with John Grant, Kurt Vile, Mystery Jets and Poliça.
The festival also sees a return to Bristol for Bloc Party, playing the O2 Academy on the Sunday night.
The first festival, headlined by The National and Damon Albarn, came to Manchester in 2014, while last year’s event in Newcastle hosted the likes of Sleater-Kinney and The War on Drugs. Primal Scream, Tricky and more were revealed as the first names to be playing the event at the end of last year at the festival’s announcement.
More names for the festival are set to be announced across the day live on 6 Music - keep checking back here for more additions to the line-up.
