Festivals Amyl and The Sniffers among new bands announced for Wide Awake 2022

The two-day London festival in May will be headlined by Primal Scream and Bicep.
A host of new acts, including Amyl and the Sniffers, have been added to the line-up for London’s Wide Awake festival.
The festival, which debuted last September in a one-day event in Brockwell Park featuring IDLES, Shame and more, will return over two days later this year on the weekend of May 27-28.
Wide Awake 2022 was first announced in December last year with headline sets coming from Bicep and Primal Scream (performing ‘Screamadelica’ in full), while other acts performing include Caribou, Working Men’s Club, Yard Act, Chubby and the Gang, Fat White Family and loads more.
After the likes of The Horrors, Sorry and Dream Wife were added to the line-up last month, 11 new acts have been added to the Saturday bill.
Joining Amyl and the Sniffers on May 27 at Wide Awake are Nation Of Language, Pist Idiots, Veronica Vasicka and more.
