Festivals Ashnikko, Miso Extra and more added to Reading & Leeds 2022

The August festivals will be headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Rage Against The Machine and more.
New names including Ashnikko and Miso Extra have been added to the line-up for this summer’s Reading & Leeds festivals.
Across two main stages, the 2022 editions of the August bank holiday festivals will be headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Megan Thee Stallion, Dave, Halsey, Bring Me The Horizon and Rage Against The Machine, while Fontaines DC, Glass Animals, Run The Jewels, Måneskin, Bastille and Wolf Alice will also be performing.
After a host of new bands were added to the bill back in March, including Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, 100 gecs, WILLOW, Black Honey, Gus Dapperton, Poppy and Beabadoobee, today sees a final 40 acts be revealed.
The line-up for the BBC Introducing stage has also been detailed, with Miso Extra joined by Courting and more.

The festival have also partnered with climate change organisation Music Declares Emergency, whose co-founder Lewis Jamieson said: “Festival Republic and Melvin personally have been at the forefront of action on climate and environmental issues within the music industry for years.
