At The Drive In share ‘Hostage Stamps’

It’s the third song lifted from new album ’in•ter a•li•a’.

At The Drive In (RIP the dash) are releasing new album ’in•ter a•li•a’, their first in a good seventeen years since the classic ‘Relationship of Command’ LP, and have shared the third track to be taken from it.‘Hostage Stamps’ follows ‘Governed By Contagions’ and ‘Incurably Innocent’ in previewing the new record, coming out on 5th May via Rise Records. Talking about the new track, vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala describes ‘Hostage Stamps’ as “like walking through the hallway in some war-torn ghetto and reading the writing on the wall. When you hear things like, ‘Raise your nithing pole’.”“I don’t think anyone will know what that is right away, but when you look it up, it’s this curse. We are going to be victorious. Here’s the fucking head on the stake in front of our army. We’re coming back. It’s reading the writing on the wall. It’s going and keeping your ear to the ground and listening to the heartbeat of young people.”At The Drive In are set to play this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals in August.
