News Blondie Album ‘Panic Of Girls’ To Be Released Next Year
It’ll follow up their 2003 record ‘The Curse Of Blondie’, and is set to be their ninth studio LP.
Blondie will release their new album 'Panic Of Girls' - originally only due out in Australia this November - in the US and UK in 2011.
It'll follow up their 2003 record 'The Curse Of Blondie', and is set to be their ninth studio LP.
Speaking to Billboard.com, drummer Clem Burke revealed: 'We tried to make the recording process as organic as possible. [We] tried to stay away from programming as much as we could, because ['The Curse Of Blondie'] had a lot of programming on it. So in the spirit of Woodstock, we kept going in the studio and playing.'
'We've been getting a great reception with the new material,' he went on to say. 'We're doing about five or six of [the new songs] in the show, which is kind of difficult for people, hearing new material for the first time at a show. But we've been doing really well with it.'
This year the band have been touring the world to celebrate their 30th anniversary.
