Bonobo’s ‘Break Apart’ video is a quick trip to Mars

Simon Green, aka electronic producer Bonobo, has shared a video for latest track ‘Break Apart’.

A laid back but melancholic collaboration with Rhye’s Michael Milosh, it’s now landed an arty visual directed by go-to art director Neil Krug. It’s a dizzying combination of surreal shots, based in deserts (near where Bonobo lives, it turns out). “Part of the writing process was to drive up to these places and live with the tracks as I was making them. This was a new part of the world to me, where the landscape is quite alien and Martian,” he says.

Bonobo plays the following UK & Ireland shows next year:

FEBRUARY
25 London, Brixton Academy
26 London, Brixton Academy
27 Dublin, Vicar Street

MARCH
01 Leeds, O2 Academy
02 Manchester, Apollo
03 Gateshead, Sage
04 Bexhill, De La Warr Pavilion
