Listen: Deftones share the brooding ‘Hearts/Wires’

It’s taken from their new album ‘Gore’, out this Friday.
Hitting the peak of their noir tendencies, Deftones’ latest finds the Sacramento group at their most brooding.
‘Hearts/Wires’ was shared first on Radio 1 last night as Daniel P Carter’s Rockest Record. Streaming below, it’s a smoky, stormy effort, up their with their most haunting. Linking up with ‘Prayers/Triangles’ (they really like forward-slashes, this lot) in previewing ‘Gore’, it’s swiftly proving to be a record that thrives in its many guises.
In DIY’s brand new 50th issue, we chat to Deftones frontman Chino Moreno about all things ‘Gore’. Pick that up here, and stream ‘Hearts/Wires’ below.
