Islet pay homage to their Cardiff home on ‘Cathays Terrors’

The Welsh noisemongers are releasing a new EP, ‘Liquid Half Moon’, this November.

Cardiff-based weirdo-pop bunch Islet have released a new track, ‘Cathays Terrors’.

A titular nod to the dodgy student area of the Welsh capital hometown, it’s arrived at the perfect time to soundtrack the left-field, post-Freshers parties of the area. Pushing and swirling like opposing sides of a magnet, but with a silken pop hook at it’s core, it’s a soaring cut of their pulsing art-rock.

‘Cathays Terrors’ is taken from ‘Liquid Half Moon’, Islet’s new EP. That’s out on November 25th via Shape Records, and available to pre-order here. Stream the new track below.
