News Jack White Doesn’t Buy Johnny Cash’s House
Jack White has turned down the chance to buy Johnny Cash’s house.
The White Stripes and Raconteurs frontman has been house hunting with his wife Karen Elson since leaving his native Detroit, and fell in love with the country legend's home.
Speaking to the LA Times, White reveals, however, that despite coming close to buying the property, buying the home of one of his idols put him off.
'It would be like living in a museum or something,' he explains.
The Raconteurs are currently in the middle of their first UK tour.
