Jack White has quashed rumours he’s about to quit his role with The White Stripes.
has quashed rumours he's about to quit his role with The White Stripes, after the early success of new project The Raconteurs. Speaking to the Evening Echo newspaper, he said he already has songs written for the duo's next album.
White said: 'I'm having a slight break from The White Stripes but not too much.
'I've already got a lot of songs for our next record, so when I find two minutes to record it I will.'
The Raconteurs, meanwhile, release single 'Steady, As She Goes' on 24th April, followed by album 'Broken Boy Soldier' in May (pre-order the album here.)
