Kraftwerk have announced that they are to play London's Tate Modern Turbine Hall in February 2013, taking up an eight night residency.
The iconic electro band, who have influenced everyone from New Order, to Bjork, to Coldplay, will play the following albums in full during their 'KRAFTWERK - THE CATALOGUE 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8' residency:
Autobahn (1974)
Radio-Activity (1975)
Trans Europe Express (1977)

Playing their first London dates since 2004, Kraftwerk will also combine sound and images, new improvisations, 3D projections and animation. Chris Dercon, the Director at the Tate Modern said; 'As a former power station, Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall is an ideal venue for Kraftwerk’s explorations of technology, energy and rhythm. Bringing together music, video and performance, these events will be true gesamtkunstwerk – a total work of art.”
