Cover lover: Listen to Car Seat Headrest cover Smash Mouth

And no, it’s not ‘All Star’ either…
Hey now, you’re an all star…
Er, actually, that’s not the one that Car Seat Headrest took on. Just a little bit on from releasing ‘Twin Fantasy’, a reimagined version of the 2011 Bandcamp album of the same name, Will Toledo’s shared a version of a tune from Smash Mouth.
Will and crew have taken on ‘Fallen Horses’ from ‘Astro Lounge’. Their version kicks off with quite a lilting, downbeat guitar line before transforming itself with scuzzy riffs.
Car Seat Headrest will be heading out on a string of tour dates in the UK and Ireland throughout May, kicking off at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on the 16th and finishing at London’s Roundhouse on the 23rd. Tickets are on sale now.
Listen to ‘Fallen Horses’ and see all of Car Seat Headrest’s upcoming UK tour dates below.
