News Listen: Eels Share New Track ‘Peach Blossom’

Our first peek at new album ‘Wonderful Glorious’

Mark Oliver Everett - the heavily-bearded face of Eels - has very kindly decided to give us a new track to tide us over until his 10th studio album comes out.

'Peach Blossom' is the first track to be taken from the LP 'Wonderful Glorious', due out on February 13th next year. The song returns to the rougher-round-the edges sound of 2009's 'Hombre Lobo', with distorted bass and lo-fi vocals.

'New Alphabet' will be the first single proper, out in December. The album follows 2010's two-hander 'End Times' and 'Tomorrow Morning'.

The complete tracklisting is below.

'Bombs Away'
'Kinda Fuzzy'
'Accident Prone'
'Peach Blossom'
'On The Ropes'
'The Turnaround'
'New Alphabet'
'Stick Together'
'True Original'
'Open My Present'
'You're My Friend'
'I Am Building A Shrine'
'Wonderful, Glorious'
