Liverpool's Outfit have shared a new track from their debut album, 'Performance', out 12th August on Double Denim Records.
The album itself is a strange, creeping being. It's clouded by a prolonged sense of melancholy, one concerned with location, identity and lack of comfort. 'House on Fire' is pretty much the record's angst-ridden peak, linking the 'we get on like a house on fire' line with colossal guitar lines and sinister hooks. Its closing section is as grand as it gets, those expansive guitars becoming even greater, reaching beyond their bounds.
Stream Outfit's 'House on Fire' below. Pre-order 'Performance' and catch-up with previously unveiled cuts 'I Want What's Best' and the title-track.
Outfit play London Electrowerkz on 12th September.
The group reveals the new visual ahead of their performance at Latitude Festival this weekend.
