If there were only Ryan Hemsworth remixes in the world, we'd probably get by.
The Canadian producer's applied a new gloss on one of the defining songs of last year; Rhye's 'Open'. Some tracks should be left untouched. If anything we'd advise all future producers who cross this song's path to steer clear.
Somehow Hemsworth's managed to pull it off. Replete with the below video of melting colours, the song gains a fluorescent lift, an analog approach - at times restrained, at times pent up and nigh-on aggressive - that separates a straightforward love song into several segments, each varying in energy and atmosphere.
