Listen to Bunki’s self-titled debut EP

The South-East London producer has shared innovative soundfest ‘Bunki’, and it’s premiering here on DIY.

Listen to Bunki's self-titled debut EP

South East London’s Bunki has been quietly making waves on the electronic scene for quite some time. Fresh from releasing ‘Ravel’ on NX Records mixtape ‘Crossing Lines II’, the young producer and recent Goldsmiths graduate has now returned with his self-titled debut EP.

‘Bunki’ takes the sonic base of previous release ‘Ravel’ - which also appears on the EP - and cannonballs it forward into a new realm of experimentation. Chiming cacophonies meet headlong with unwieldy, swerving bass-lines, and this eerie, haunting and strangely captivating debut EP marks Bunki out as a definite face to watch in 2015.

You can catch Bunki live at London’s Power Lunches next Thursday (22nd Jan) at the free launch party. ‘Bunki’ is released on 19th January, via Squareglass. You can pre-order the EP here and once you’re done listening to ‘Bunki’, have a watch of all-new video for lead track ‘SKTCH’. It’s below with the stream, premiering here:
