Phoenix were forced to cut their Radio 1 / NME Stage slot short following technical difficulties.

Phoenix were forced to cut their Radio 1 / NME Stage slot short following technical difficulties.

The band were set to appear at shortly after 9pm, but technical difficulties curtailed proceedings by 15 minutes.

When they did appear, classics such as 'Lisztomania' and '1901' were matched with a spectacular light show. 'This is the first time we've played Reading', frontman Thomas Mars exclaimed. 'It's nice.'
