News Porij announce new EP ‘outlines’

The Manchester band have also shared new single ‘Automatic’.

Set for release on 7th September, Manchester’s Porij have announced their new EP ‘outlines’.

“Lyrically, I think it’s some of the most raw stuff I’ve ever written,” Eggy says of their new material. “I’m not really hiding behind anything. I think we’ve had a lot of experiences over the past year, which have been intense. And it’s really exciting, to find that voice.”

Sharing new single ‘Automatic’ today, Porij add, “Automatic is all about remembering the first time you felt cool. For me it was walking down the corridor in primary school in my all velour Dalmatian track suit - I think I peaked in this moment at the age of 6. The song acknowledges how addictive that sensation is, without trying to take yourself too seriously.”
