Future Olympian / XL producer Powell announces debut album ‘Sport’

XL-signed producer Powell has announced his debut album, ‘Sport’.

Out 14th October, the record’s led by new single ‘Frankie (ft. Frankie)’, a Frankie-crammed track that comes backed by arresting visuals, streaming below. Neatly timed with the Rio Olympics, the clip finds an animated, stickman version of Powell attempting archery, freestyle swimming and cycling on a bike made of watermelons. Guy Featherstone & Carlos Enciso direct the clip.

Powell plays dates at London’s Corsica Studios (8th September) and Bristol’s Simple Things festival (22nd October).
