Premiere: Listen: Goodbye Chanel Stream ‘Hot City Nights’ EP In Full
See the forthcoming summer in full detail with the help of Goodbye Chanel’s fantastic new EP.

When Scott Johnson plans a holiday, he doesn’t just hurriedly pack his bags and set off for some place unknown. He plans the thing, detail-to-detail. Friends are invited, cocktails are ordered months in advance so that upon Scott’s arrival, he needn’t worry about a thing. He’ll pen a soundtrack too, just in case everyone forgets to bring their copy of The Beach Boys ‘Pet Sounds’.
Said soundtrack is ‘Hot City Sounds’, a steamed up reminder that summer’s basically here already. Months and months of non-stop hedonism await for guys like Johnson. This being his second Goodbye Chanel EP (following last year’s ‘Through Night To Paradise’), he’s seeing in a far bigger sound, like adding a hundred sky-conquering floors to a bungalow. This is his first effort alongside a full band, which only makes for a more excitable, unhinged take on a tropical paradise of a sound.
Goodbye Chanel launch the ‘Hot City Nights’ EP at London’s Sebright Arms (April 16th), Leeds’ Wharf Chambers (17th) and Newcastle’s Cluny (19th). Pre-order the EP here.
