Premiere: Young Unknowns Share New Single, ‘I Want To Lose’

For those unacquainted: Young Unknowns are a Brooklyn outfit making the kind of brittle pop tracks that could fall into shattered pieces at any point.

A Neu Bulletin from September 2012 picked out their ‘Far Enough’ track as a special one, with ‘melancholy lining the seams’ and all that.

They’ve continued along the same course with new single ‘I Want To Lose’; intimacy’s there from the get-go, Meredith Meyer’s vocals sinking into the surface with hushed pronunciations.

The song’s premiering on DIY alongside a very nifty device calling itself ‘Wallcloud’. It plays the song alongside some curated images and poetry courtesy of Matthew Price.
