News Squid are playing a one-off show in London in February

It will be the first glimpse at new material.
Fresh off of their 2022 tour which saw them perform at Glastonbury, Primavera (Barcelona and LA), Somerset House, and loads more, Squid have announced that they’ll be playing a one-off show at London’s Scala on 9th February.
“Our original show at Scala was meant to be our first London headline,” the band add, “so it means a lot to be able to make it happen.”
The first glimpse at the new music they’ve been working on, the band released their debut album ‘Bright Green Field’ in May last year. In our review of the record, we said, “‘Bright Green Field’ seems manufactured in the cold, hard grind of a climate-wrecking factory; arrangements are icily wrought like the clanking cogs of industry, hypnotically rotating in perfect tandem for maximum sonic profit. As a sequence of songs, it is masterfully constructed.”
