News The Killers are releasing new single ‘Boy’ next month

The new track arrives on 5th August!
The Killers have announced that they’ll be releasing their new single ‘Boy’ on 5th August!
Debuting the track live during their performance at Mad Cool earlier this month, we described the song as, “rousing and with a refrain of ‘don’t overthink it, boy’, it all comes buoyed (boom-tish) with melodic patters reminiscent of Erasure’s ‘A Little Respect’.”
‘Boy’ marks the first taste of their eighth album, which follows last year’s ‘Pressure Machine’. In our review of their latest record, we said, “While, perhaps, this more reflective musing on American life wasn’t quite what we’d come to expect from The Killers, ‘Pressure Machine’ does prove that not all escapism arrives with a hook-laden chorus. This is an album which invites you to dig a little deeper.”
