The track gets taken from their forthcoming new album ‘Personal Best’.

Following on from last month’s news that their new album is on the way, TRAAMS have offered up another new track.

The Chichester trio have now shared ‘Breathe’, as taken from their forthcoming third record ‘personal best’, which is due for release on 22nd July via Fat Cat Records. It follows on from recent singles ‘The Light At Night’ and ‘Sleeper’.

“A soft, meandering lullaby, born out of a trip to the GP,” ‘Breathe’ also features guest vocals from Softlizard, the new project from Menace Beach’s Liza Violet.

Speaking of how the track came together, the band’s Stu Hopkins has said: “During one of 2020s seemingly endless lockdowns once it was legal to do so, we began meeting up in Stu’s basement (due to our regular rehearsal space being shut). It was a strange time and we all felt palpably odd.

“We already had a couple of tracks from a previous session, but ‘Breathe’ felt new. It took us down a very different path, one that ultimately shaped the tone of the whole record - right down to the artwork.”

TRAAMS - personal best

It’s one for the late night coach rides; for the wee, contemplative hours spent staring through black windows.
