Carpetgarden unveils new single ‘No Emotion’

The track is lifted from their forthcoming EP ‘The Way He Looks’.

Californian rising star Carpetgarden is spoiling us today, unveiling their brand new single ‘No Emotion’ as well as announcing that they’ll be releasing a new EP next year! Nice that, init?

Sharing dazzling pop gem ‘No Emotion’, the song features on new EP ‘The Way He Looks’, which is set for release on 10th February via House Anxiety.

Speaking on the EP, Carpetgarden - aka David Sweet - says, “‘The Way He Looks’ is an EP about a time in my life where it felt like the world was against me and constantly throwing obstacles in my face, just for the fuck-of-it. I tried to turn my experiences into a whimsical, wholesome fantasy. With its unapoligetically queer lyrics and visuals, I hope that younger lgbtq+ people feel heard and represented while also challenging the heteronormative music industry.”
