Watch: Teleman Unveil ‘Steam Train Girl’ Video
New video takes viewers through a proverbial roller-coaster.
The clip of the roller-coaster that comes just over half way through the video for Teleman’s new single ‘Steam Train Girl’ is perhaps the best visual example of just how many different sounds this track goes for.
Take for example the anticipation that bubbles inside you during that slow ride to the top on your favourite coaster at the theme park: ‘Steam Train Girl’ kicks off with a pretty foreboding and chilly bassline that’s as close an audio representation to that as you’re going to get, before dropping you through suddenly through hoops and loops that are soundtracked by sparkling synths and whimsical melodies.
There’s something very 80s about it – maybe even a little bit of Frankie Goes to Hollywood – but that only adds to the charm that ex-Pete & The Pirates frontman Thomas Sanders’ vocal brings to the group’s overall sunny and luminous vibe.
