Wolf Alice, Swim Deep & Slaves, Hyde Park, London
5th July 2014
The bands appeared on the Libertines-headlined Saturday night.
Amid all that kerfuffle, Libertines fans crawling up towers, crushing those at the front, some sets being cancelled and others moved, more than just the reunited 00s heroes performed on the various stages of Hyde Park on Saturday night.
There’s last month’s DIY cover stars Wolf Alice, hot on the trail of that killer Glastonbury set, Swim Deep, who are hard at work on the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Where The Heaven Are We?’ and Slaves, whose thrash-tastic racket is winning over festival goers here, there and everywhere.
