Bon Jovi Announced As Second Isle Of Wight Headliners
Following on from yesterday’s Stone Roses confirmation, the classic rock band will also take to the stage that weekend.

Bon Jovi are the second headliners to be announced for next year’s Isle of Wight festival.
The classic rock band have supplied the event with their second UK festival exclusive, as the four-piece are confirmed to close the weekend on Sunday 16th June 2013.
The announcement comes after yesterday’s news that The Stone Roses would be topping the bill on Friday 14th June.
Wanna know what Jon Bon himself thinks? Well, this is what he’s said about the event: ‘The Isle of Wight Festival is legendary and we’re excited to join in the long tradition of Rock ‘n’ Roll history. We are honoured to be the headliners on the Main Stage Sunday night. This will mark our first visit to the island and I expect it will prove to be a highlight of our tour and of 2013.’
And the festival’s promoter, John Giddings, is a bit excited too: ‘I can’t imagine a better rock band with more hits to close our Sunday night. The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen are hard acts to follow – but I think they’ll do it!’
Taking place in Seaclose Park, Newport on the Isle of Wight, the festival will take place from the 13th to the 16th June, with tickets going on sale on Wednesday 28th November from www.isleofwightfestival.com. More acts will be announced soon.
Last year’s festival played host to headliners Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Pearl Jam and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Festival special! Featuring Wolf Alice, Kasabian, Lykke Li, Marmozets, Genesis Owusu and more.
