Listen: Cash + David Unveil Debut Track ‘Funn’

There’s a lot to be made of Cash + David’s name. With just one track backing up their credentials, it’d be easy to assume that there is indeed a fair bit of ‘Cash’ (given the supreme, glossy production) and that whoever ‘David’ is has something clever up his sleeve. Also: Is he an already well known David? Beckham? Fincher? Craig David? Is there even a David in the band?

‘Funn’ answers every single question apart from all the above. It confirms that Cash + David are a very exciting duo out of London, giving splintering pop a duly required dose of synths. The track eases its way through monstrous guitars and shiny synthetics that could slot right into a Chvrches record.
