Muse Unveil Album Trailer, Begin Website Countdown

Muse seem to have unveiled a trailer for their brand new album…

Yes, that’s right. They’re back and they’re counting down to something too. From our guessing, it’s around about 102 days until their album - seemingly titled ‘The 2nd Law’ - will be released (the trailer claims a September release date). But who really knows?

The last we heard from the band was back in December 2011, when bassist Chris Wolstenholme spoke to Kerrang! magazine, about the band’s plan to ‘move on’ from the sound of their previous album.

Wolstenholme said: ‘[The band] feel like we are drawing a line under a certain period of what we’ve done in our career. It feels like it’s time to move on and do something radically different.’

He did, however, also admit that their sixth album was proving that it’s not easy to plan how an album will take shape, until the writing and recording processes begin.

‘You could get into the studio and go back to what you’re comfortable with. You get in the studio and there’s a natural process and you have to see where a song will take you.’
