A$AP Rocky is just the latest in a long line of U.S artists to be seen addressing their desire for dollar by placing the ‘$’ sign in their logo. But few British acts of any note have tried a similar tactic with the pound sign. Perhaps it’s not as attractive. More likely, us 99% are so broke, seeing ‘£’ holds little significance.
J£ZUS MILLION wants to buck the trend, and he’s not even from the UK. That’s not the only thing the producer - at the mind-meltingly young ago of 17 - wants to change. His sample heavy brand of R’n’B-based skitters skywards, crafting together abrasive fragments of sound with more soft-to-the-touch elements. His finest achievement to date is ‘Benefits’; a magnificent, entrancing beast of a song.
