Christmas 2012 Cave Painting - Driving Home For Christmas
The band put their twist on Chris Rea’s paean to being stuck in festive traffic.
Chris Rea’s ode to famously being stuck in M25 traffic was originally released in 1988, reaching the dizzy heights (!) of Number 55 in the UK charts. Since then it’s been re-released (33 that time), had a charity video attached (starring, um, Martin Shaw, Gail Porter and Mike Read) and been covered by X Factor contestant Stacey Solomon in an Iceland advert. Here, at the suitably decorated north London watering hole The Lamb, it’s given a whole new look by Brighton indie types Cave Painting.
