What is it that’s in the Australian Waters at the moment? Tame Impala are set to dominate every end of year list and wave after wave of new bands are emerging. Even our adopted Londoners Sasha and Toto from Splashh are from down under. The latest import to come from these shores is San Cisco who perfectly channel the bright Australian sunshine into their dazzling music.

A little different to your typical new band, San Cisco can already boast a major record deal with Columbia, as well as phenomenal success in their homeland. It is the tried, tested and successful formula of crafting irresistibly catchy indie songs that they use to win people over, with the group sounding like a female fronted Vampire Weekend. San Cisco release the EP ‘Beach’ - 10th December - which is an extremely addictive listen with a number of sweet choruses that ease their way into your memory. A debut album is planned for May next year, which will be the perfectly compliment for a 99 flake ice cream at the beach: The UK’s classiest companion to the band’s aura of cool.
