Dangerous levels of noise.

Some bands are extremely clued-up on how to make the most effective, buzz-gathering entrance possible. Shinies followed wise convention by releasing a typically hazy, entirely loveable first track, alongside some NSFW artwork, before sitting back and watching the hype gain pace.

Nothing is known about the Manchester act apart from their obvious like of nudist playing cards and dangerous levels of noise. But their first song, ‘Spent Youth’ carries tons of promise, with lo-fi production enveloped in a beautiful case of melody. “This is more than a feeling,” our anonymous vocalist bellows. It does seem like more than a flash in the pan first effort, that’s for sure.
