Superfood x DIY Superfood’s guide to Birmingham
These Brummies are now firmly London-based, but they’re not forgetting their home anytime soon.
As soon as Superfood jumped out, they were the latest, hottest new band to come from that brief, beloved ‘B-town’ affair. Since then, most, if not all Brummie staples of that early 2013 excitement have since spiralled out and relocated to London. Superfood are no different. But ahead of our free gigs with the band, they happily obliged us, giving a special guide to their city of choice. From everything to bars, cafes, hangout spots and the best new bands still spilling out from the Midlands, they’ve run down the best (and worst) aspects of their home.
For everything Superfood, head to the newly-fledged DIY x Superfood hub. We’ve got a big feature around their album, a playlist of their on-the-road favourites and plenty more.
