Reeperbahn Festival adds 70+ new names to 2026 lineup
Shame, Bleech 9:3, Lowertown and more are all heading to Hamburg this September.
Returning this September for its 21st year, Reeperbahn Festival is here to remind us all that “indie” is far more than a subgenre of guitar music - instead, it’s an ethos of artistic independence and boundary-pushing creativity that defines the Hamburg event’s 2026 lineup.
71 new artists have just been announced to play this year’s festival (which takes place from 16th - 19th September in various venues around Hamburg), including post-punk poster boys Shame, exciting Irish disruptors Bleech 9:3, and DIY Atlanta duo Lowertown.
Also among the latest additions to the bill are the likes of electronic innovator Alexis Taylor (of Hot Chip), French pop purveyor Lauren Auder, and humorous Australian septet Playlunch, as well as a whole host of local favourites like Sonic Interventions, Agatha Is Dead!, and Rosa Damask.
Plus, Reeperbahn have also confirmed details of two special concerts taking place in the Grand Hall of the iconic Elbphilharmonie on Saturday 19th September: singer and boundary-pushing composer Anna von Hauswolff, and jazz mavericks the Moses Yoofee Trio. Tickets can be bought independent of a full festival ticket, or reserved at no extra cost for festival attendees. (Find out more and book yours here).
