THE GIG
The Orwells - London, Sebright Arms

It’s due time The Orwells made their mark on the UK once more. Following a London show at White Heat last night, one of the most all-thrills live bands on the planet celebrate day 2 with a headline show at Sebright Arms. Nothing will stop Mario Cuomo and co in their tracks.

THE SONG
Trust Fund - séance

This is a real floppy-fringed, tattered-shoes kind of song. Feeling gloomy? You ain’t got nothing on Ellis, the brains behind Trust Fund. Vocals that are all-heart, no-flim flam rinse the scene. Layer upon layer repeats. It’s a distinct, simple track about miserable things, but it’s a brilliant one at that.
