The Orwells schedule tiny show at London’s The Black Heart

It’s fair to say that The Orwells have gained quite the reputation when it comes to their intimate live shows, so it seems only right that they’ve announced a tiny ‘pop up’ performance to take place next week.

Scheduled to play the Festival Republic stage at this weekend’s Reading and Leeds festivals, that wasn’t quite enough for the Chicago five-piece, so they’ve now announced a show at Camden’s The Black Heart.

A notoriously small venue, and a guaranteed sweatbox-in-waiting, the band will appear at the North London pub next Thursday 28th August. Tickets are on sale now.

Don’t fear if you can’t make it down though: The Orwells will be returning to the UK later this year to take their recently-released debut ‘Disgraceland’ out on the road. They’ll be making five stops in Manchester, Bristol, Glasgow, Sheffield and London.
