THE GIG
DIANA, Sister Gracie, Chloe Howl - London, White Heat, Madame Jojos

Tonight’s White Heat opens with an early doors set from Chloe Howl, but we’re praying punters stay put following her set for the following acts on the bill: Sister Gracie sport a dark playful noir wave, while Toronto’s DIANA are on the brink of delivering one of the debuts of the year with a summer release on Jagjaguwar.

THE SONG
JUNGLE - Platoon

‘It’s funny, how good you are’ runs the mantra of London based JUNGLE’s debut track. It’s funny, how apt that is.

Every element of ‘Platoon’ is about the rhythm. Even the vocals beat to their own drum, piercing a murky surface with resplendent colours. Release on Chess Club in July, this single is the setting in motion of a hugely exciting new musician.

OTHER NEU BUSINESS

Seriously, fickle music fans can fall in and love with a track just like that. Not this one. This is the musical equivalent of a long-term relationship, and it hasn’t even begun to blossom yet.
