THE GIG
Thee MVPS, Playlounge, Theo Verney, BAYY - London, Birthdays

A free barrage of fuzz graces Dalston tonight, with DIY favourites Playlounge (pictured, up top) lodged within a bill featuring the unrelenting racket of Charlie Wyatt aka Thee MVPS, Brighton force Theo Verney and the sparser glow of BAYY.

THE SONG
sæs - Passed Out (It’s Night Time)

It’s refreshing to find music this honest in the party-all-night stakes. Shunning the ‘we might not get tomorrow, let’s do it tonight’ approach that’s, let’s face it, kinda seedy, one of two debut songs from Orlando duo saes is loyal to the art of keeping it comfy and low-key on a weeknight. The genre ‘CAMUS’ is so clearly indebted to never died if newcomers continue to push it to boundaries such as these.
