Solids, Theo Verney, Polterghost - London, Birthdays (DIY Presents)
Before festival season gets into gear (Liverpool Sound City starts tomorrow), DIY’s sticking in London to put on one hell of a show at Birthdays. THE BIG NEU THING
Nicky Sparkles - It’s Your Life
If Michael Jackson was still around today and fancied making a new single, what would he do? The debut single by Nicky - ‘It’s Your Life’ - is out on Nicolas Jaar’s Other People label now, and is so dazzling and hazy it might as well be by the man himself. [Tom Walters]

There’s head-bursting, all-encompassing music - and then there’s this.
